Breaking: Obama's EPA set to block new coal plants

Today, President Obama's EPA took a solid first step to limit the construction of new coal plants. Years ago, carbon, or CO2, was categorized as a "dangerous pollutant" by the Supreme Court in "Massachusetts vs. EPA." Just months ago, litigation from our friends at the Sierra Club resulted in a complete halt to new coal plant construction.

Obama makes a green recovery the law of the land

About an hour ago, President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in Denver, CO. The $787 billion economic stimulus bill contains the largest amount of green investments ever--a whopping $87 billion!
