Just in case you missed it: Grists’ Lisa Hymas posted an article today called Gore vs. Hansen: Enviros take sides in debate over House climate bill. What I love about Grist generally and about this article is her levity. Her frame is a reminder that climate advocates are all on really on the same side (we want to save the planet too, remember?): Check out her summary of who is where on the rapidly changing energy bill

1Sky is correctly listed as in the “strengthen to support” camp – but it is too bad there have to be “camps” on one side. The other side seems so good at marching in lock step to keep the fossil fuel industries in business.

Read the article and let us know what you think.

So I realize that not everyone has been following every dot and tweet of the Waxman-Markey effort to get a clean energy bill through the Energy and Commerce Committee and to the floor of the House of Representatives (then to the Senate) which would mean a bill before the big world climate talks in Copenhagen in December.

Time to tune in. Our friends and allies lead by Reps. Markey and Waxman have been working day and night to keep the bill strong.
