A disappointing version of the energy bill was voted out of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee yesterday. We opposed this version of the American Clean Energy Leadership Act of 2009 in its present form. Working with 13 of our close allies, we sent a letter (PDF) opposing the bill, but it passed anyway (full text of the letter available at the bottom of this post).
