What a week! Work-wise, it was only four days long. Timewise, it felt like years! This week, we try to piece together stories ranging from Van Jones to Senate committees to walruses, and more.

The unofficial "end-to-summer" this week is now the official start to crank up the pressure on the climate bill. Personally, I'm glad the summer's over. There are a lot of reasons for my embracing fall, including that I spent most of the summer hobbling around on crutches.

But here at 1Sky, we made sure that the last unofficial weeks of summer didn't hobble along. The last few weeks were marked with a ton of organizing at local Senate offices during the congressional recess.
