Watch Al Gore's pre-election webcast tonight
Can you believe we're only 7 days away from Election Day? This election will have enormous consequences for the country and the world -- especially when it comes to climate change. If we're going to finally get bold climate leadership out of Washington, D.C., we have to do everything possible to get out the climate vote.
Tonight, former Vice President and serial award winner Al Gore will headline a webcast kicking off the final pre-election push to grow the climate vote and expand the mandate for bold climate solutions next year. RSVP right now to watch the webcast.
During the webcast, Gore will speak about the connection between energy, climate and the economic crisis, why this election is so important to our push for bold climate action, and what we can do to get out the climate vote. We're partnering with the Energy Action Coalition and the We Campaign to spread the word about this event and support their GOTV efforts because, in this election, no climate voter can afford to stay home.
Speaking of not staying home, make sure you don't run into any problems on Election Day. The National Association of Secretaries of State's voter resources page is an excellent place to find out your state's polling hours, where your polling place is located, whether you can still vote absentee/early, etc.
