Here's yet another way for you to get involved in the grassroots movement for bold climate solutions: The National Teach-In on Global Warming Solutions.

On Thursday, February 5th, hundreds of colleges, K-12 schools, churches, and other organizations will host day-long dialogues on how America should tackle global warming. From the website:

February 5th, 2009, at the beginning of the first 100 days of the new administration, the National Teach-In on Global Warming will engage over a million Americans in solutions-driven dialogue. As educators, students and citizens, we owe our nation a focused conversation about the critical decisions that will determine if our descendants will inherit a prosperous or an impoverished planet.

As a prelude to Thursday's events, the National Teach-In has put out a 45-minute "Solutions for the First 100 Days" webcast featuring some of the climate movement's leading lights -- including 1Sky Board President Betsy Taylor. Check for a teach-in near you, or plant a flag on the map and organize your own. There's no such thing as too much education--especially when it comes to climate change.
