Why Wellstone training takes you to the next level

Some of you may be familiar with our partners at Wellstone Action. They’re the group that was founded to continue the legacy of the late Senator Wellstone, a beacon of progressivism in a sometimes abysmally business-as-usual Congress. Well, Wellstone saw 1Sky and thought: "Hey, there’s a group of passionate and smart leaders – let’s bring them to the next level by arming their people with the arsenal of tactics we have perfected over the last decade."

And thus was the birth of our first Leadership Summit in D.C. from June 27-28.

We couldn’t be prouder to put on this Summit, bringing together leaders in our network from California to New Jersey, Ohio to New Hampshire, and beyond. This is one of a series of four trainings this summer and fall to build our skills as a movement for the major battles we need to win in order to strengthen and potentially pass a bill before the Copenhagen talks in December.
