Maldives President Nasheed: "Our country will not exist"

For residents of the Maldives, climate change is already, literally, a matter of life and death. The Maldives are the proverbial canary in the coal mine: if climate change is not curbed, it could be the first country to disappear off the face of the Earth due to global warming.
Which is why on Tuesday, at the U.N. Climate Summit, Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed urged the world to take strong action on climate and to make the U.N. climate conference in Copenhagen a success. Here's the video of his short but powerful speech:
