Make Art for Climate shows beautiful results

Posted by: Alex Bea | December 1, 2009

Over the last several weeks it has been amazing seeing all the photos coming in from 1Sky supporters all over the country. Our activists held more than 200 gatherings nationwide in the month of November asking Obama to push for a legally binding treaty in Copenhagen.

On Friday we will be taking all the banners, posters, and pictures down to Pennsylvania Avenue to display in front of the White House. We'll then deliver those works to Obama administration staff to deliver the message from Americans that this is the time for President Obama to show strong leadership on climate.

See the banners below:

Pls look up (on google)the story of my son's tragic death, Kaelan Paton, on 6-16-09, drowning to rescue others. There was no time to think or plan except to call for help. I feel that is a situation the whole world is in, with time truly running out for too many poor folks on plan-it earth.

As we learn to take back our voices and power, particularly for women and children, the poor and minorities in every land who suffer needlessly, our hearts and minds can be transformed. www.greggbraden.com and others say kindness can shift the way things unfold for us, so let's make ours the United States of A-Miracle and join together for peace, healing, saving energy and our ourselves while we still have a chance. Peace, Catherine Palmer Paton, CT
