Climate activism is so much more than environmental concern. Sure, i care about the critters, but the ones that concern me the most are ourselves. Humans don't react well to instability--wealth disparities, wars, and worse--but we can and must act on climate change ahead of the (downward) curve. Happily, the most effective way to curb warming also happens to be the most effective way to breathe new life into the American way of life. I want this generation to be the one that consigns the fossil economy to the history museums and launched a clean, green economic renaissance for the 21st century.
