I'm very concerned about the loss of natural habitat for the deer, raccoon and other animals that populate north and central Georgia. Many years ago, I traveled through the state and was always impressed by the high density forest areas-even those located close to the cities. Now having lived in the state for eight years, I've witnesses the decimation of so much green space, and with it, the indigenous wildlife. The sprawl that has been created by poor urban planning is taking a toll on animal and human life. I want to see the citizens of this country reverse this 'moving train'; I know we have the capability, now it's a question of 'do we have the will?'
