Faces of Climate Change
Melissa in Willowbrook, IL
I want my child to enjoy the same world I grew up in. It is already drastically different thanks to terrorism. We can't change that. But even worse would be for global warming to take over and there be no polar ice caps, no polar bears, no wildlife as we know it, the chain reaction that would follow would devastate everything I have come to know and love. I want my child to see the world I know first hand, not in a book or a movie about what used to be. THIS we can change!!! If we don't, it will be lost forever.....and then we WON'T be able to change it. We cannot wait for that to happen! We must act now, or lose everything for future generations. Please, please don't let this happen.
Thank you,
The Alvarado Family

I have just begun looking into everything and anything I can do within my means to help out as much as I can. If only spreading the word and teaching my children to help get this world back on track is all I can do, well then I think it's more than I lot of people I know who have such a negative attitude towards me when I talk about water conservation, solar power and other meaningful topics.
KUDOS to you all.
