Nashville Mothers Acting Up gathered for our annual Mother"s Day Peace Parade on Mother"s Day with the intent to add to our prayer flag banner calling for congressional attention to climate change. Fittingly, the weather played a huge role in our day, with gale force winds, causing us to downsize our event. Pictured here is the string of prayer flags that we began the Friday prior to Mother"s Day at our pre-parade potluck and pep rally in East Nashville. Mamas pictured are Maria, Deanna, Patricia and Nancy. Children pictured are Griffin, Rowan, Tessa, Olen Rose, Greyson and Cole. We all live under One Sky!!

Our local 1Sky action maven, Deanna, came up with the beautiful concept to make our banner a string of prayer flags made by us and our children. So beautiful!!
