I was born here in Florida in 1955 and recently I am seeing more and more of our beaches vanishing. Global warming is a concern to me because Florida stands to be greatly effected by rising sea levels. My children live here and I care about their future. Even if our actions to slow global warming do not stop the polar ice from melting and raising sea levels we will at least have taken some vital steps to clean up our environment and leave a better world for our children. It is NOT our right to destroy this planet for it also belongs to our children and generations that follow.
