I live in Long Beach, CA next to the 3rd largets port in the world. All the ships,trucks and equipment it takes to transport, load, and unload cargo add to the carbon output, and help to make the air quality one of the worst in the nation. The average life expectancy in this area is actully below average due to particulate matter in the air. Our planet's health and our health is linked and should be our nation's #1 priority.
