We are all aware that climate change is here, it is dangerous to our communities, and we must do what we can to reverse and adapt to it. Cambridge-Somerville for Change is hosting "Green Future 2020" on Tuesday, March 29th, to discuss the Massachusetts Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2020 The event will be held at the Cambridge Senior Center at 7pm. The plan seeks to put Massachusetts in a nation-leading position when it comes to clean sources of energy and reducing pollution. Come learn what you can do to help make sure we implement the plan and make the transition to a clean energy future! Dr. David Cash of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs will present the plan and will discuss what how we can help the state lead along with Representative Will Brownsberger and Eugenia Gibbons, program coordinator and the Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM).
