1Sky Missouri and Greenpeace Organize Rally for International Day of Climate Action
1Sky Organizer, Ed Smith, predicts hundreds of people will attend Saturday's rally in support of bold federal climate legislation. The rally, taking place on the grounds of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, is one of the many ways Missouri is showing support for clean energy legislation. Last Monday evening, 1Sky hosted a conference call with three local Missouri business owners to talk about the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's anti-climate stance.
In regards to the Chamber's opposition to clean energy legislation, Byron DeLear, with the Missouri Association of Accredited Energy Professionals said he found it "very troubling to see the U.S. Chamber take a political position." Other local business owners agreed.
