1Sky Oregon Hosts House Party to Plan for 350.org's International Day of Action

On Friday, October 2nd, 30 people gathered at the Lucky Labrador Brewing Company in Portland, OR to plan for 350.org's International Day of Action, happening on October 24th. Gathered around tables with pints of craft beer in hand, attendees learned more about 350.org's campaign and strategized on how to make the need for strong domestic climate legislation and an international climate treaty more visible.
1Sky Oregon's organizer, Jamie Hogue said, "People need to call their senators, write LTEs and make sure the call for a strong climate change bill is heard here in the US as well as around the world."
