Ministers Show Support for Comprehensive Climate Legislation on 1Sky Teleconference

Three ministers voiced their support for comprehensive climate legislation at a teleconference organized by 1Sky. Reverend David Taylor of Simpsonville called for a "stewardship of creation" as he spoke about climate change during one of his sermons.

All of the ministers on the call clearly stated their support for keeping the Clean Air Act intact, and making sure Senator Murkowski's 'Dirty Air Act' is voted down.

Rev. Alonza Washington of Charleston says people afflicted by environmental problems need a larger voice in the political arena. He thinks church leaders should be a "voice for the voiceless" and says, "the planet needs a voice".
