1Sky joins Hands Across the Sand action in Miami

On June 26th around 10:30 AM I arrived at South Miami Beach just east of the 5th street entrance. The Hands Across the Sand event had just begun.
The purpose of this event was to show solidarity and garner political support for alternative energy, and to stop off-shore drillilng. Organizations including 1Sky, the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Surfrider Foundation, Environment Florida and the Urban Paradise Guild all had a presence.
