Mock Oil Spill

This is will be a Mock Oil Spill, complete with hazmat suits and a Black Tarp to represent the oil. This piece of street theater will be accompanied by a few speakers and will commemorate the one year anniversary of the Deep Water Horizon Disaster. Nothing Legislatively has been done since the worst environmental disaster in our nation's history, and we will be organizing of city hall plaza with the message, "What if it happened here?" This event will be done in solidarity with 7 other events along the east coast.
