The night editor of Bay Area News Group called last night to verify my letter will be published this week ...

Dear Editor:

I am so angry I could spit! Do we want Texas oil companies meddling in our affairs?

Texas oil companies have already spent millions to put Prop. 23 on California's November ballot.

I’m saying NO! to Texas oil companies and their meddling aimed at dismantling AB 32 - California's Global Warming Solutions Act.

Prop. 23 would reverse all our good efforts already being done under AB 32.

Let’s rally around our state's clean energy and clean air standards. Let’s protect the 500,000 jobs in the fast-growing clean tech industry and more than 12,000 businesses. Let’s protect $3 billion in venture capital spent by innovative companies that are developing more efficient and cleaner alternatives to fossil fuels.

Please join me and go to http://www.StopDirtyEnergyProp.com and ask your friends to also take a stand to protect the innovative work being done here by fellow Californians.

Say YES! to Californians’ clean energy efforts.

Say YES! to a stronger vibrant economy, new skilled jobs, and innovative industry that will shine a light for the world to follow.

Don’t let Texas oil and Prop. 23 ruin all the good work we are doing.
