Faces of Climate Change
Aaron in Tower, MN
Unless we act now, the beauty of our world will be subtly eroded. The stress of increasing temperatures is already reducing the populations of beneficial insects, like bumblebees, and with the disappearance of bumblebees, the wild flowers that depend upon them for pollination are unable to set seed and are disappearing from some of their natural ranges. Its a slow and very subtle change, but some species of wild flower that were once common are now rare. If we don't respond quickly, the much of the diversity of our world will be lost, and with it, much of the beauty as well.
