We must look at the big picture here and consider the cradle to cradle aspect of our everyday choices. So much of what we do everyday ultimately links back to the burning of fossil fuels. We need to embrace the concept of our local resources, slow food, mass transit, alternative energy, protecting green space and our remaining nature preserves and wild places through conservation and sustainable development.
The answers are out there as indicated in my video.
Central Piedmont Communtiy College is working to support a shift in thinking in our Charlotte, NC region. We are already making a positive difference here through our Center for Sustainability and our community partners.
