Global warming or climate change?
We're all trying to figure out the best language for communicating about climate change and global warming. Which of the two terms is most effective? Which has worked best for you?

11:53 PMCall it the only thing I call it the deterioratetion of the ozone layer and the whitch calles it to change the wether and the Global-Warming thery is a fact now we all know it now we act on it.Time is at hand and the knowledge is out there so let use it in a matter that we all agree too. -

11:15 AMGlobal warming is causing the climate change. Global warming is man-made and so man can fix it, if we decide collectively and globally that we want to do it. Look at what happened when America was forced into WW II. Our collective effort rebuilt our fleet, innovated our tanks and planes, etc, etc. We can do the same to build a green economy: wind, solar, tidal, geothermal, etc. and also export this technology to China, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Egypt, etc. Everyone can get on the ground floor of this work. Plus we can put up plants on the coasts to clean the salt out ofocean water for farming in dry places. No one has to go hungry anymore.

I think climate change is less confusing for the general population and prevents folks from scoffing at the idea of global warming when they have a freak cold weather event. So often people confuse climate and weather events.Rate this response Flag as inappropriate
